MARVIN THE MANICOU AND FRIENDS
BOOK SERIES
Oprah’s work is fuelled by her creative passion and quest to promote Caribbean content, especially among children. As the author and illustrator behind The Adventures of Marvin the Mischievous Manicou, she hopes to educate young readers about wildlife in Trinidad and Tobago, while inspiring a sense of appreciation for local culture.
WORKSHOPS
Since launching Create Me in 2020, Oprah has authored, illustrated and published three children's books ... and counting.
TV SERIES
In keeping with her efforts to educate and inspire young readers across Trinidad and Tobago, she developed and hosted a series of interactive and educational workshops in 2020 targeting children nationwide.
POP-UP SHOPS
In 2021, she also scripted and produced a television mini-series titled the Marvin and Friends Craft and Storytime to extend her reach to families and children during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oprah's work is fuelled by her creative passion and quest to promote Caribbean content, especially among children. Through this and future projects, she continues her efforts as an advocate for creative entrepreneurship and locally inspired children's literature.
