Create Me was founded by Oprah C. Francis, an author and communications professional from Trinidad and Tobago who specialises in creative production. Growing up, Oprah longed to see more local characters in books and on screen. This inspired her to write and illustrate her first children’s book in 2019, The Adventures of Marvin the Mischievous Manicou. Determined to overcome the challenges of traditional publishing, Oprah established Create Me and transformed Marvin’s playful adventures into a full series, with the Marvin the Manicou and Friends collection of plush toys, books and videos to raise awareness about local wildlife and culture. Now, Create Me works to empower small businesses and entrepreneurs with the support they need to bring their vision to life with engaging and meaningful content.
